The load specifications are based in part on highly simplified assumptions for the mechanical stresses occurring in the protective conduits under idealized operating conditions. For example, pulsating inflows are not taken into account. The data can therefore only be of an indicative nature for thermowells under real operating conditions. They do not provide complete safety against breakage or tearing of the thermowell.
