Water supply

Austria’s nationwide water supply with highest drinking water quality can look back on a long tradition and has a high reputation throughout the world.  In the year 1873, the Viennese high spring water pipe was completed within the scope of the world exposition and put into operation as Europe’s biggest water pipe. Just as traditional for JAKO is therefore the communal water supply as application area for pressure and temperature metrology, covering anything from raw water catchment for drinking and industrial water treatment to water storage and distribution.

JAKO has a wide range of standard measuring instruments particularly for this area of application that are supplied to many plant constructors and operators in Austria and abroad. Depending on where these instruments are used, they are filled with glycerine, both to avoid condensate formation and to allow vibrationally stable dial reading. JAKO measuring devices as well as attachments and mounting parts such as screw-in, weld-in and flange sleeves or shut-off valves made of high quality stainless steel are produced and supplied for oxygen-enriched fresh and drinking water systems.
